Biography

Søren Møller is Managing Partner of Novo Holdings Seed Investments and sits on the firm's Life Sciences Leadership Team. He joined Novo A/S in 2011 as Managing Investment Director of Seed Investments. Before that he was global manager of Genomics at Novozymes, and prior to Novozymes he was CSO and Vice President of R&D at Exiqon A/S, which completed an IPO during his tenure and was acquired by Qiagen in 2016. Earlier he worked in cancer drug development as head of Lead Identification at BioImage and as a research scientist at Novo Nordisk. He holds an MSc (1993) and a PhD in molecular biology (1997) from the Technical University of Denmark and trained as a post-doctoral fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. Novo Holdings lists him on the boards of AMRA, Biosyntia, Reapplix and Northsea Therapeutics, and as a board member of Danish Biotech and DVCA since 2008.
