Michael K. Bauer joined Novo Holdings Venture Investments in November 2020. From 2006 to 2020 he was at Genmab, starting in project management taking daratumumab into the clinic, leading Clinical Development between 2010 and 2018 as part of the senior leadership team, and from 2018 leading R&D Operations. Before Genmab he was an Associate at BankInvest Biomedical Venture and a Licensing Associate in Scientific Licensing at Novo Nordisk A/S, after seven years as a research scientist at Novo Nordisk. Earlier he spent six years at the Research Centre for Developmental Medicine and Biology at the University of Auckland. He holds a Masters in agricultural science from the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim and a PhD in agricultural science from the University of Göttingen.
