Biography

Aleks Engel joined Novo Holdings in 2014 and is a Partner in the Planetary Health Investments team, based in Boston. He was previously part of the firm's Principal Investments team and its Seed Investments team in Copenhagen. Before Novo Holdings he was employed by Baxter International, Pfizer Global Research and Development, Thomson Scientific & Healthcare and McKinsey & Company. He holds a PhD in biochemical engineering and an MSc in chemical engineering practice from MIT.
