Biography

Philippe Gire is a co-founder and Partner of Elaia. A graduate of École polytechnique (X 1976), he spent his early career at Accenture from 1980, where he was responsible for IT services solutions and launched the firm's corporate venture fund, becoming Managing Partner in 1996 with more than 3,000 people under his responsibility. In 2000 he moved to the automotive supplier Valeo as president of the Valeo Ventures investment fund and VP Strategy and e-Business, sitting on the group executive committee. He co-founded Elaia in 2002 and the firm lists his focus as digital, SaaS, IoT, telecom and insurtech. He commented publicly on Elaia's exit from Teads to Altice.
