Biography

Laurent Kott is a Venture Partner at Elaia. He began his career as a research professor at Université Paris 7 and held professorships at the Université de Rennes and the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin. He directed the Inria research centre in Rennes for five years and served in Inria's general management before leading Inria-Transfert, where he implemented Inria's policy on the creation of technology companies, and helped design I-Source, one of the first seed funds dedicated to digital innovation in France. He chaired the management board of IT-Translation from 2011 to 2019. Elaia lists his expertise as distributed systems, software development, SaaS and medical technologies. His joining year at Elaia is not published.
