Biography

Clément Vanden Driessche is a Partner at Elaia, appointed in January 2025. Before joining the firm he worked at Next47, the USD 1 billion venture fund backed by Siemens, where he was involved in European B2B tech Series A and B investments and led the go-to-market operating model for more than 30 US, Israeli and European B2B scale-ups. He started his career at the aerospace and defence group Safran in 2006 as an engineer, then moved into strategy, M&A and venture capital focused on early-stage deep tech. He studied at the École Supérieure d'Optique and holds an executive MSc in strategy and international business from ESSEC. Elaia lists his focus as generative AI, semiconductors and photonics, the future of industry and environmental tech.
