He holds a PhD in biotechnology, an MSc in biochemistry and a medical doctorate, all from the Technical University of Munich, and carried out his PhD research on artificial metalloenzymes at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. Before venture capital he was a management consultant in the life sciences practice at L.E.K. Consulting, running projects for pharma, medical technology and laboratory supplies companies, and he acted as commercial advisor to a German cosmetics startup and as commercial advisor and co-founder of a Saudi food delivery company. He joined Wellington Partners in 2020 as a Senior Associate, was promoted to Principal in 2022 and to Partner in 2023. His cases include Adrenomed, Aignostics, Amboss, MMI, Nyra Health, ONWARD, Sidekick, SphingoTec and UroMems.
