Biography

Shan Fu joined Vivo in 2013 as Managing Partner, Co-CEO and CEO of Greater China. Before Vivo he was a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone's Private Equity group and Chief Representative of Blackstone's Beijing office, and earlier held roles at China's National Development and Reform Commission, the State Economic and Trade Commission and State Council offices. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in History from Peking University. He is a director of Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (Nasdaq: SVA): Vivo's April 2025 statement on litigation concerning the Sinovac board describes him as Vivo's board representative, he was among ten directors elected at the meeting whose first board session was held on 10 July 2025, and he filed a Form 3 with the SEC on 18 March 2026 with the director box checked and the ten percent owner box unchecked, reporting 5,903,000 Sinovac common shares held indirectly through Vivo Capital funds. That share count matches the Sinovac line in Vivo Capital's Form 13F-HR for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
