He joined the firm with over 15 years of experience in process research and development and CMC management in the pharmaceutical industry, having led the development and implementation of chemical processes for programmes ranging from pre-IND to late-stage Phase III. Before Vivo he was Executive Director of Process Research & Development at STA-WuXi AppTec, Director of Process Chemistry at Avista Pharma Solutions and a Principal Research Investigator at Array BioPharma. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Chemistry from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University.
