Kurma Partners is a French healthcare venture capital firm founded in Paris in July 2009 that turns academic science into biotech and medtech companies, with a second office in Munich. It runs three franchises: Biofund (therapeutics, funds I to IV), Diagnostics (diagnostics and digital health, funds I and II) and Growth Opportunities (later-stage healthcare), alongside the Paris Saclay Seed Fund. The firm says it has financed 72 companies and founded 25 of them since 2009, working with European academic research institutions from company creation through expansion. Kurma is a wholly owned company of the Eurazeo group: Eurazeo bought a 70.6% majority in 2021 and acquired the remaining capital on 30 April 2025, while Kurma keeps its own brand and investment teams.

30 April: Eurazeo acquires the remaining capital of Kurma Partners, taking it to 100% ownership. 22 October: Kurma, a founding investor, announces the sale of ImCheck Therapeutics to Ipsen for EUR 350 million upfront and up to EUR 1 billion.

24 April: final close of Kurma Biofund IV at EUR 215 million with Eurazeo, CSL, the European Investment Fund and Bpifrance as investors; the firm states total assets of EUR 1 billion.
