Biography

Zach Aarons is Co-Founder and General Partner of MetaProp, the New York proptech venture firm he started with Aaron Block in 2015, and is described as one of the most active early stage proptech investors in the United States. Before MetaProp he funded more than 50 startups in the sector as an individual angel investor, was a senior associate at seed stage fund ENIAC Ventures, and worked as a project manager at real estate developer Millennium Partners. He began his career as an analyst at the investment bank now known as Solomon Partners and founded the walking tour startup Travelgoat. He co-authored the bestseller PropTech 101, teaches at Columbia's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, and was named Investor of the Year at the 2017 Global PropTech Awards. He holds an AB from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
