He was a founding member and Chief Investment Officer of S2G Ventures at its establishment in 2014, and under his leadership the firm expanded into systems investing strategies across energy, food and agriculture, and oceans. He has spent more than 20 years investing at the intersection of innovation and multi-asset strategies, with earlier roles at CLSA Capital Partners, the Global Environment Fund, the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group, and JPMorgan. In 2023 he testified before the US Senate Committee on Agriculture. He holds a BA from the London School of Economics.
