Biography

Phil Grayeski, PhD, is a Managing Partner at KdT Ventures, the early stage frontier science firm where he rose from Principal to Partner in 2022 and to Managing Partner in 2024. A scientist and repeat biotech founder, he co-founded gene therapy company Stride Bio and RNA targeted drug discovery company Ribometrix, which together raised tens of millions of dollars, before joining KdT. He studied Chemistry and Genetics at the University of Georgia, where he was a Goldwater Scholar, earned an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, and completed doctoral research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill focused on mRNA structure and disease. At KdT he backs founders building at the molecular level across therapeutics, tools and materials.
