Trained as a physician-scientist, he earned a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and an MD and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Georgetown University, where his doctoral work focused on machine learning applications in neuroimaging. He was a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health working on biomarker development for neurodegenerative disease before moving into venture capital. At KdT he invests at the intersection of computation, biology and chemistry across life sciences and healthcare, and he was promoted to Partner in October 2024. He also advises the One Mind Accelerator.
