He was previously Director of Technology at impact-focused venture firm Pangaea Ventures, where he directed technology scouting and evaluation, and before that was an early employee at nanotechnology startup PChem Associates, supporting fundraising and building quality assurance processes. His work centres on technology evaluation, impact assessment methodology and early-stage hardtech ventures. He holds an MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a BSE in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, awarded summa cum laude. He serves on the boards of CEV portfolio companies Exterra Technologies, Queens Carbon and Transaera.
