Biography

Dan Goldman is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Clean Energy Ventures, the Boston-based early-stage climate technology firm he helped formalize in 2017. He has more than 25 years of energy industry experience in strategy, corporate and project finance, and project development, beginning at Arthur D. Little where he led the Asia Pacific Energy Consulting Practice from 1992 to 1996. He subsequently held senior development and finance roles at InterGen, co-founded New Energy Capital as its CFO, and served as President and CFO of GreatPoint Energy. He sits on the boards of LineVision, SparkMeter, ConnectDER, ClearTrace and ndustrial, and is a board observer at ClearFlame Engines, Advanced Ionics, Nth Cycle and Quidnet Energy. He co-founded the nonprofit Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) and chairs the Northeast Clean Energy Council board.
