Biography

Kevin Harvey co-founded Benchmark Capital in 1995 and has been a managing member of its general partner since January 1995. Before Benchmark he founded StyleWare, which was acquired by Apple subsidiary Claris, and founded and served as president of Approach Software, which Lotus Development acquired in 1993. He joined the Red Hat board in August 1999 and led Benchmark's $8 million Series B round in oDesk in September 2006, joining that company's board. Upwork's proxy statements identify him as Founder and General Partner of Benchmark Capital and a member of its board of directors since 2014. He also founded Rhys Vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
