Andy Rachleff co-founded Benchmark Capital in May 1995 and served as a general partner from January 1995 through December 2004, having previously spent ten years as a general partner at Merrill, Pickard, Anderson & Eyre. At Benchmark he sat on the boards of Equinix from September 1998, Loudcloud from November 1999, and CacheFlow, later Blue Coat Systems. He co-founded Wealthfront and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from February 2007 to December 2013 and again Chief Executive Officer from November 2016 to March 2021; he has been Chairman of its board since January 2014 and remains a director. He has been a lecturer at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business since January 2005.
