Biography

Eric Horan is a co-founder and General Partner of Decisive Point, a New York based venture capital and strategic advisory firm focused on defense, energy, and infrastructure technologies. Before co-founding the firm in 2018, he spent ten years as a government contracting officer for the U.S. Navy working on major weapons systems programs, and supported the Office of the Secretary of Defense on policy creation and streamlined acquisition authorities. At Decisive Point he leads the advisory practice, delivering services to startups, government customers, and investors on federal acquisition strategy and government contracting. The firm launched its first venture fund, Decisive Point Ventures Fund I, in 2021. He holds a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
