NextView Ventures

Rob Go, David Beisel, and Lee Hower founded NextView Ventures in 2010 on a contrarian thesis for the time: that a dedicated seed-stage specialist firm belonged outside the Bay Area, built around what the firm calls the 'Everyday Economy' - startups that redesign the habitual moments of daily life for large populations, from commerce to health to money. That focus led NextView to an early stake in Attentive, which grew into a roughly $10 billion company, and to backing ThredUp ahead of its 2021 Nasdaq IPO. The firm has stayed a lean, partnership-based team where every partner can lead investments, deliberately avoiding the largest, most competitive Silicon Valley deals in favor of conviction-driven bets closer to home.
