Biography

Rob Go spent his early career in product roles at eBay and Fidelity before joining Spark Capital as an early-stage investor focused on consumer internet and SaaS. In 2010, he co-founded NextView Ventures with David Beisel and Lee Hower on a contrarian thesis: that a dedicated seed-stage specialist firm belonged outside the Bay Area, built around what the firm calls the 'Everyday Economy' - startups that redesign the habitual moments of daily life for large populations. That focus led NextView to an early stake in Attentive, which grew into a roughly $10 billion company, and to backing ThredUp ahead of its 2021 Nasdaq IPO. Go has been recognized as one of Boston's most influential technology figures for his role building a seed ecosystem outside Silicon Valley's traditional hubs.
