Zia Huque is a General Partner at Prime Movers Lab, where he focuses on growth-stage investing. He joined the firm in 2021 after a 30 year Wall Street career spanning credit, rates, equities, and derivatives. At Deutsche Bank he served as Global Co-Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Banking and Securities from 2012 to 2016, as Head of Equities and Fixed Income and Currencies for the Americas from 2016 to 2018, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc from 2018 until his departure in 2019. He serves on the boards of Tarana Wireless, Lyten, E-Space, CarbonCapture, and Paradromics. He holds a BA in economics and political science from Williams College.
