Biography

Yue Bin is a co-founder of Gaorong Capital, the Beijing venture firm founded in January 2014 as Banyan Capital together with Zhen Zhang and Xiang Gao. Trade press covering the firm's first fund reported that all three founders had worked on technology, media and telecom investments at IDG Capital, and that Yue Bin had also previously worked at the advisory firm China Renaissance Capital. The Form D for Gaorong Partners Fund VI, L.P. lists him as a key person of the fund's general partner. The firm changed its English name from Banyan Capital to Gaorong Capital in May 2018.
