Wang Lin is a founding partner of CDH Investments and Managing Partner and head of CDH VGC, the firm's venture and growth capital arm, which CDH says was founded in 2015 and has invested in over 90 companies in healthcare, hard technology, AI and AI+, enterprise solutions and consumer. CDH's team pages say he was a senior member of CICC's private equity group from 1999 until co-founding CDH in 2002, and before that a Senior Manager in the Loan Guarantee Department of China National Investment and Guaranty Corporation. The English biography dates that role to 1994-1999 and adds a project manager role at De Bao Real Estate Developing Corp. from 1993 to 1994. He received a doctorate in economics from the Research Institute for Fiscal Sciences of the Ministry of Finance.
