CDH's team pages say that before founding Cephei he was Managing Director and head of the sales and trading department at China International Capital Corporation, dated 1997 to 2006 in the Chinese biography, and before that manager of portfolio analytics and corporate finance at Freddie Mac from 1992 to 1997. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University and, per the Chinese biography, a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Southeast University. He appears on CDH's group management team page; CDH does not give him a partner title.
