Biography

Tom Ingersoll is a Partner at Space Capital, a venture capital firm focused on the space economy. A two time space entrepreneur, he co-founded Universal Space Network, a spacecraft tracking and communications company acquired by Swedish Space Corporation in 2009. In July 2011 he became Chief Executive Officer of Skybox Imaging, which he led to a 500 million dollar acquisition by Google in 2014. Earlier he was a senior manager at McDonnell Douglas Phantom Works. He joined the Space Capital platform in 2017, when it operated as Space Angels, and applies operating experience in satellites and launch vehicles to the firm's portfolio companies.
