He became managing director of Space Angels Network in 2012, built it into an institutional investment platform, and rebranded the business as Space Capital in 2020. The firm reports more than 1 billion dollars in assets under management across four institutional funds, with portfolio companies including SpaceX, Planet, and Rocket Lab. Earlier in his career he managed a 50 billion dollar real estate portfolio at JPMorgan Chase. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and is the author of The Space Economy, published by Wiley in 2023.
