Biography

Chad Anderson is the Founder and CEO of Space Capital, a New York based venture capital firm investing at the intersection of space technology and global markets. He became managing director of Space Angels Network in 2012, built it into an institutional investment platform, and rebranded the business as Space Capital in 2020. The firm reports more than 1 billion dollars in assets under management across four institutional funds, with portfolio companies including SpaceX, Planet, and Rocket Lab. Earlier in his career he managed a 50 billion dollar real estate portfolio at JPMorgan Chase. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and is the author of The Space Economy, published by Wiley in 2023.
