Biography

Tom Costin is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Owl Ventures and has worked across the firm's business and investment operations since its 2014 founding, helping build Owl into what the firm describes as the largest venture capital firm in the world focused on education technology. Before Owl he advised families, nonprofits, endowments, and pension funds on venture capital and private equity allocations as a private investments specialist at Cambridge Associates, and earlier worked as an associate at FLAG Capital. He advises the education deal team of the Stanford GSB Impact Fund. He holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
