Before Flourish he was a Partner at Omidyar Network, where he built the global financial inclusion team, and before that he spent five years as CEO of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor. He was previously a Partner at McKinsey & Company for more than a decade across North America and India, where he helped build the firm's global financial services and healthcare practices, and earlier he worked as a journalist in Germany and as a staff member at the IMF in Washington, DC. He chairs the Advisory Council to the UN Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance. Flourish lists his current investments including ApnaKlub, Aquaconnect, Brick, Financial Health Network, FinRegLab, GramCover, Indifi, Kaleidofin, M2P Fintech, Qoala, Scripbox and SILQ, with exits including Grab Financial Group and United Income. He holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute.
