He leads global policy and ecosystem-building efforts, makes investments in the US and emerging markets, and incubates new areas of work. Before Flourish he was at Omidyar Network, developing an investment portfolio focused on regtech and banking technology across frontier markets in South Asia. Earlier he co-founded a program at the World Bank that Flourish says laid the foundations for the first generation of mobile-first fintech in emerging markets, and he has advised the Indian government on digital public infrastructure. Flourish says he has roughly 20 years in financial services and has worked in more than 15 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America. He holds a master's degree from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a B.A. in Economics from Gettysburg College.
