Biography

Suneel Gokhale is a Co-Founder and General Partner of VentureSouq, a MENA-based venture capital fund manager he co-founded in 2013. He was previously Senior Legal Counsel to the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, advising on global M&A, investment fund and capital markets transactions, and before that practised corporate law at Allen & Overy and at Blake, Cassels & Graydon. He holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia, an MSc from the London School of Economics and a B.A. (Honours) from McMaster University. He has spoken for the firm on its fintech fund strategy in the MENA region.
