Before VentureSouq she was an Investment Professional in the Global Special Situations Group of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, focusing on venture capital and technology deals, and earlier worked as an Actuarial Consultant at Mercer. She holds a BSc in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and of the Society of Actuaries. She represented the firm publicly on the launch of its MENA fintech fund.
