Before turning to investing he founded and served as CEO of two NASDAQ-listed Israeli technology companies, Oshap Technologies (sold in 1998) and Tecnomatix (sold in 2005), and was Chairman of ECI Telecom from 2002 to 2007. He also co-founded Vintage, a global venture platform that invests in venture funds. At Viola Ventures he sits on the boards of companies including Outbrain, Unity, proteanTecs and Worthy. Outside investing he has chaired Israel's National Task Force for Educational System Advancement and the Israel Democracy Institute.
