Viola Ventures is the early-stage fund of Israel's Viola Group, investing at pre-seed, seed and Series A and backing companies from the ideation phase. Its own page states $1.5B under management, more than 20 years in Israel's tech scene and over 150 companies backed, including ironSource, Payoneer, Redis, Pagaya, Lightricks and Immunai. Current stated focus areas are fintech, cyber, vertical AI, AI infrastructure, defense technology and quantum. The fund was founded in 2000 as Carmel Ventures and rebranded to Viola Ventures in November 2017 when it raised its fifth fund.
