Biography

Robert Paull co-founded Lux Capital in 2000 with Peter Hébert and Josh Wolfe and also co-founded Lux Research. He was the founding CEO of Harvard Medical School spinout Genocea Biosciences and the founding CEO, president and treasurer of Johns Hopkins spinout Kala Pharmaceuticals, and later served as CEO of Mahana Therapeutics from 2018 to 2020. Lux Capital's site lists him under its advisors as Co-Founder and Venture Partner focused on healthcare, managing the firm's investments in Cala Health, Kala Pharmaceuticals, Kyruus and Visterra. He has served on the board of directors of KALA BIO since July 2009 and has advised the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
