Biography

Peter Hébert co-founded Lux Capital in 2000 with Josh Wolfe and Robert Paull, after beginning his career in Lehman Brothers' equity research group. In 2003 he led the spin-off of Lux Research and served as its founding CEO. Lux's own site describes his approach as backing scientifically and technologically ambitious ventures, and lists investments including Anduril, Applied Intuition, Auris Health, Chronosphere, Hugging Face, Impulse Space, Saildrone, Everspin Technologies, Luxtera and Matterport. He is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School and serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, the Newhouse School and the Palo Alto Museum.
