Rick Lewis is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners, promoted to that role in 2012, and was named on the investment teams for the firm's USVP XII fund in 2020 and USVP XIII fund in 2022. His Kauffman Fellows bio states that he invests in software, covering enterprise SaaS and cybersecurity, and in technology-enabled consumer services across ecommerce and media, and lists current board seats at Act-On Software, Darwinium, Mealogic, Primary, Stensul and Tiny Fish. He led USVP's $10 million Series A into Forager in 2020 and joined that company's board. Before venture capital he held software engineering leadership roles at Autodesk, consulted to Disney Imagineering, co-founded Design Variations and Common Point Technologies, and worked at Sun Microsystems, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and McKinsey & Company.
