Biography

Nimi Katragadda is a partner at BoxGroup, the New York seed firm she joined in 2015 as a principal after David Tisch and Adam Rothenberg hired her out of Harvard Business School. She had previously worked as a banking analyst and as a product marketer at Google, and invested in student startups through Rough Draft Ventures while at business school. Forbes reported that she pushed the firm further into healthcare and financial technology, leading investments in SmithRx, Notable Labs, Modern Fertility and Guideline, and she was promoted to partner in January 2018 as BoxGroup's first female partner. She has said about half the deals she has sourced or led have been in health care.
