Biography

Maryanna Saenko is Co-Founder of Future Ventures, where she invests in frontier technologies including nuclear fusion, sustainable agriculture, women's reproductive longevity, and AI applications in construction and medical therapeutics. Before launching the firm with Steve Jurvetson in 2018 she was an investor at Khosla Ventures and DFJ and an investment partner at Airbus Ventures, and earlier worked as a consultant at Lux Research and a research engineer at Cabot Corporation, with engineering experience spanning lunar rovers, Martian landers, driverless cars, and communication systems. She holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
