Biography

Kuo-Yi Lim is co-founder and Managing Partner of Monk's Hill Ventures, based in Singapore. Before starting the firm in 2014 he was CEO of Infocomm Investments, the US$200M growth-stage fund set up by Singapore's Infocomm Development Authority, and earlier a consultant at Boston Consulting Group; he has also been a founder and early employee at startups in Boston, San Francisco and Singapore. The firm lists Ninja Van, Padlet, KKday, Delos, Rainforest, UrbanMetry, Hypefast, GoGet, Cinch, Twilio and Quid among the investments he has led. He sits on the boards of SG Growth Capital and Great Eastern Holdings, on the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association, and on the Technology Council of the Global Private Capital Association. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT, where his research covered nanophotonics and photonic crystals.
