Monk's Hill Ventures is a Singapore-headquartered venture firm founded in 2014 by Peng T. Ong and Kuo-Yi Lim that backs Southeast Asian technology founders at pre-Series A and Series A. It runs a deliberately sector-agnostic mandate, and its published portfolio clusters in fintech and lending, B2B SaaS, logistics, health technology and education technology across Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The firm says it has invested in more than 50 startups since its first fund and operates from offices in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta. It has told regional press that it deliberately raises modest fund sizes, and it runs founder-facing programmes it calls SEA Connect and the Angsana Council.
