Before UTEC he was head of India and Southeast Asia operations at Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, supporting more than 50 deep technology startups, and earlier worked in corporate analysis at Cleartrip India; he co-founded the student led venture Kriya. He holds a master's degree from the University of Tokyo TMI programme, completed in 2016 and specialising in deep learning, and was a full scholarship recipient at the University of Tokyo School of Engineering.
