Biography

Kevin Lalande is a Founding Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Santé Ventures, the Austin based healthcare and life science investment firm he co-founded in 2006. He oversees investment strategies managing more than one billion dollars across five venture funds. Before Santé, he spent seven years as an investment professional at Austin Ventures, worked as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company, and founded three internet companies in the 1990s. His venture investments include LDR Medical, Explorys, AbVitro, and Millipede Medical. He holds an MBA with highest distinction from Harvard Business School, a bachelor's degree with honors in electrical and computer engineering, and a graduate certificate in artificial intelligence from Stanford University.
