He also founded SparkMed Advisors, a medical device advisory firm, and co-founded Chrysalis BioTechnology, a biopharmaceutical company focused on tissue regeneration. He holds an MS in engineering management from Stanford University and a BS in aerospace engineering with honors from the University of Texas.
