Biography

Karin Klein is a founding partner of Bloomberg Beta, the early-stage venture firm capitalized by Bloomberg L.P. that launched in 2013. Before Bloomberg Beta she was responsible for strategy and business development at Bloomberg L.P. from 2010 to 2013, including as head of new initiatives, and previously spent 2000 to 2010 at Softbank Corp. in roles including director of corporate development. Her own site lists investments including Buddy Media, BuzzFeed, Huffington Post, Meetup, StrongDM, CyberGRX, Flashpoint and Campus, and she has served on the board of Regency Centers since May 2019. She holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
