James Cham is a Partner at Bloomberg Beta, which he co-founded in 2013 with Karin Klein and Roy Bahat. He invests in companies applying machine intelligence to businesses, and Bloomberg L.P. described him at the fund's launch as a former principal at Trinity Ventures. Before Trinity he was a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, and earlier a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, a principal at Zefer and a software developer at Andersen Consulting. He holds an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan and an A.B. in computer science from Harvard.
