Biography

Jerry Yang is a General Partner at HCVC, the Paris-based hardtech venture firm formerly known as Hardware Club. He spent the first twelve years of his career in the semiconductor industry as both an engineer and an entrepreneur across Taiwan, Silicon Valley, and France, co-founding a semiconductor startup in Taiwan. He holds BS and MS degrees from National Taiwan University, an MBA from HEC Paris, and is a CFA charterholder. Based in Paris and splitting time between Europe and Asia, he was a partner in HCVC's $50 million debut fund and its $75 million second fund, and his investments at the firm include Giraffe360, Radian Aerospace, Gideon Brothers, and Valispace.
