Biography

Alexandre Flamant is a Partner at HCVC, based in London. He started his career exploring new developments in artificial intelligence at IBM Watson before moving into venture capital in 2016 at Notion Capital, where he backed machine learning companies including Unbabel, Five.AI, Scortex, and Sofia Salud. In 2015 he founded London.AI, a meetup connecting the city's machine learning community, and he leads ZERO, a climate-focused event series bringing together founders, researchers, and policy experts. He joined HCVC as a Venture Partner in December 2022, drawn by the firm's willingness to back daring founders tackling meaningful physical-world problems, and now serves as a Partner.
