Biography

Aymerik Renard is a General Partner at HCVC, based in Silicon Valley, with over 25 years of experience investing in breakthrough technologies. A Carnegie Mellon graduate in Information and Decision Systems, he spent twelve years at Orange heading North American investments, where portfolio companies were acquired by Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, SAP, and others. He was a Vice President at PCH International, where he co-founded the Highway1 hardware accelerator, then led U.S. venture activity at SanDisk from 2014 and managed strategic investments for Western Digital Capital after SanDisk's acquisition. He joined Hardware Club, now HCVC, in October 2017 and is an active mentor across hardware and robotics accelerator programs.
