View Live Interactive Profile →Jeffrey Schox is a founder and partner of Trucks Venture Capital, the San Francisco seed fund for transportation startups, where his investments include Universal Hydrogen, Skyryse, Joby Aviation, and Refraction. He grew up outside Detroit, studied mechanical and electrical engineering, and worked as an engineer on the original electric vehicle at General Motors. He is also the founder of Schox Patent Group, a boutique patent firm that has developed patent strategy for Coinbase, Cruise, Duo, Joby, Twilio, and hundreds of other startups, and he was an angel investor in Cruise, later acquired by General Motors. He teaches patent law and strategy as a lecturer at Stanford University. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and a JD from George Mason University.
